On the schematic for the mppt-1210-hus the component D6 is shown with a gray X over it. Is this component to be installed?
No, you can leave it out. I added it to the schematic to test if the efficiency is improved if the LS MOSFET turn-off-time is faster. However, it didn’t really make any difference.
