Planning a 16S BMS with STM MCU

Good evening,

I am currently working on my graduation project and plan to design the LibreSolar BMS myself with some modifications. I have a couple of questions:

  1. Is there a reference schematic available for a 16S BMS using an STM-based MCU? I understand that the ESP32-C3 is powerful, but its package makes it challenging to solder by hand.

  2. Regarding firmware uploading for the STM version: is an ST-Link programmer sufficient, or the J-Link is required?
